C Compiler For Android

Programmers this is an wonder full app who are using android, this Gives you a clean environment of C and 

c++   C4droid is a simple C/C++ IDE + C/C++ compiler for Android with Makefile support.

C4droid already has almost full C language support, so you don’t need to wait when it will be added.
You can to write your own applications on Android phone, and run them. This app uses TCC and uClibc, so it has full support of ANSI C and some support of ISO C99. C4droid can be used for educational purposes or to practice in C language.
Some components of C4droid are LGPL-licensed. You can download used source code of TCC and uClibc on their websites (But TCC had been modified by me, so I recommend to email me to get modified source).
C4droid includes Android Terminal Emulator so you can to run your application comfortably.

To get C++ support you need:
1) Install GCC plugin (C4droid will ask you to install it).
2) Select G++ compiler in C4droid preferences.
3*) Use iostream, not iostream.h
4*) Add “using namespace std;” to your program (before int main)

To compile Makefile projects, open any file in the same folder with Makefile and long-click “Compile” to configure current directory (C4droid will create .c4droid configuration file when you’ll press Ok). After configuring folder, you can press compile button and C4droid will build your project.
Don’t forget to enter executable name and select compilation mode (and press ok also, else changes will be discarded)

C4droid supports SDL, NativeActivity and Qt for GUI now, install SDL plugin for C4droid to use it (only GCC/G++ compiler is supported, so you need GCC plugin).
(SDL is detected with #include “SDL.h”, NativeActivity is detected with #include “android_native_app_glue.h”, Qt is detected with #include “QtGui”).
There is an experimental support for Qt using necessitas, but note that it’s in alpha stage.
Qt support limitations:
1) Path to Ministro libraries is hardcoded (/data/data/org.kde.necessitas.ministro/files/qt/lib), so email me if it will change.
2) Only QtCore and QtGui libraries are supported by C4droid for now.
3) If you’re compiling a single-file Qt app, you must add #include “yoursourcefilenamewithcpp.moc” to the end of file. If you’re using .pro file for compilation, you don’t need to do that.

An app on Google Play is proving to the world that the vast majority of Android users fail to read the description of an app before downloading it.

The Solar Charger app for Android claims that it can charge your phone just by leaving its screen out in the sun. If that sounds too good to be true, that's because it is! However, the app has already been downloaded between 1 and 5 million times (!), so clearly some people are falling for the joke. According to the app developer, that's the whole point: people need to read the description of their apps. If they don't, it's their loss.

The description of the Solar Charger app begins innocently enough: "Go green! Charge your phone with the power of the sun! Start this application, put your phone in a well lit place and watch your battery charge using the solar panel."

Sounds promising enough, right? But as the description continues, it should become even more obvious to the common person that this app is an epic joke:

Auto-Forward SMS and Missed Calls to your Email

You may wonder why would anyone want to forward text messages or missed call notifications to their email account when the cell phone is with them all the time? Won’t these messages add morenoise to an overflowing email Inbox?

Not so. For instance, some of my friends work in a company where, for security reasons, they aren’t allowed to carry personal mobile phones inside though they do have regular phones at their desk and are allowed email access. They would therefore leave the phone at home but with auto-forwarding enabled, they’ll get an email alert as soon as someone sends them an SMS or calls on their cell during office hours.

Such a feature may also be handy for people who have recently switched to a different phone number and would like to keep track of all incoming calls and messages received on their previous phone but without having to carry it all the time.

The Android Market has dozens of apps that can bring the auto-forwarding feature to your mobile phone but the one that I like most is SMS2Gmail. It says “SMS” but the app can forward both SMS text messages and missed calls to your email address. You will get the complete message text in your email and the sender’s name as well provided that that number already exists in your phonebook.

It takes just one step to get it up and running. Launch the app, provide the credentials of your Gmail account and done. It needs the Google credentials in order to send email notifications but if that doesn’t make you too happy, just create another Gmail account and set it to auto-forward messages to your primary email account.

One more thing.

You turn on email notifications manually but in a situation where you have have forgotten the phone at home, or have misplaced it somewhere, you can remotely activate auto-forwarding by sending an SMS from any another phone to your phone.

The app lets you assign an Activation Keyword (see screenshot) and as soon as a text arrives with that keyword, the auto-forwards will be enabled automatically.

How do I create shutdown shortcuts in Microsoft Windows 7?

Creating a shortcut

Creating a shortcut should be familiar to almost everyone, but we will walk through the process just for clarity. There are other ways to accomplish this task, but this is my preferred method. First, right-click on a clear spot on the desktop and navigate to New | Shortcut, as shown in Figure A.

When you click the Shortcut menu item, you will arrive at the input screen shown inFigure B. This is where you will enter the specific command strings to make your new shortcut do what you want it to do.

For our example, we will enter the specific command that will shut down a Windows PC. Type the following command into the box and then click Next.

Shutdown.exe -s -t 00

The next screen (Figure C) asks you to name the shortcut. I suggest you name the shortcut to correspond to the action it will perform. In this case, we name it Shutdown.

Give it an appropriate name.

New icon

Technically, you could stop here, but I prefer to give these shortcuts an icon that will help me remember what it is they do. In Windows 7, changing an icon is similar to how you changed icons in previous versions of the operating system.

Right-click on the icon in question to get the context menu shown in Figure D and then navigate to the Properties menu item.
